What is the difference between made-to-measure and off-the-shelf boots?

Made-to-measure (Bespoke) boots are crafted specifically for your individual foot and leg measurements, ensuring a perfect fit and unparalleled comfort. Off-the-shelf boots are mass-produced in standard sizes, which can not provide the same level of fit and comfort as a custom-made boot. Simply put our boots are the best fitting boots on the market

How long does it take to create a pair of custom boots?

Once measurements are obtained the process of crafting a pair of made-to-measure boots typically takes about a week. Boots are made in batched and each step in the process requires its own timeline. Each boot undergoes a meticulous process of measuring, patterning, cutting, sewing, lasting, and finishing. We take great pride in ensuring the highest level of quality and craftsmanship in every pair.

Can I choose the type of leather and other materials used for my custom boots?

Absolutely! We offer a wide range of leathers, materials, and notions for you to choose from. We'll work with you to select the best materials based on your preferences and needs.

Are made-to-measure boots more expensive than off-the-shelf boots?

It may come as a surprise that our current price structure place our bespoke boots at, or in some case below the cost of handmade stock/shelf boots. Our bespoke boots are made with top-quality materials and time honored processes, ensuring exceptional durability and the ability to be repaired and resoled, extending their lifespan and providing great value.

How do I care for and maintain my custom boots?

Proper care and maintenance are essential to keep your boots looking and feeling their best. We recommend cleaning your boots regularly, conditioning the leather to prevent drying and cracking, and waterproofing if necessary. For more detailed care instructions, we'll provide specific guidelines based on the materials used in your boots.
